pwc talent academy success story
The pwc five-day residential talent academy aims to develop the employability skills of students early on in their degree.This year’s event finished last week.
Fifty-four students set to graduate in 2012/13 from universities across the UK participated. Together with seminars for personal and professional development, students worked in groups to fill positions on the board of directors of a fictitious international transport business.
Eighteen out of twenty students from the 2009 Talent Academy have been offered a six-week internship at the firm this summer as a direct result of impressing at the academy and will work in PwC offices in Birmingham, East Midlands, London, Manchester, St Albans and Uxbridge.
